Preserve and Celebrate Turkish Cultural Heritage
Help build a lasting flagship cultural institution that represents and celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Turkish music in the U.S.
We are a non-profit institution predominantly supported by donations. Unfortunately, as typical in orchestras, ticket sales cover less than 30% of our costs. Your support is essential in bridging this gap.
Each season, we host at least two major concerts along with a number of smaller events.
We foster an inclusive community, connecting communities through music.
Our 50+ professional musicians perform all genres of Turkish music in symphonic form, sharing the richness of our culture.
We are deeply committed to our musicians. Over 50% of our budget directly supports musicians, honoring their vital role and ensuring the highest quality performances.
We commission original works to evolve and enrich Turkish music globally.
Provide Scholarships for Young Musicians
TAO is dedicated to nurturing future musical talent. A portion of the orchestra’s proceeds is allocated to scholarships for Turkish students, administered through TPF. This initiative not only provides meaningful financial support to emerging talent, but also supports individual aspirations helping them achieve their educational and professional goals.
